Adam was born and raised in Kingston, New York.  He went to Syracuse University and got his Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism.  He worked for three television stations before becoming a trainer; first in Syracuse, New York, then in Boston, and lastly in Laredo, Texas (he started behind the scenes, before becoming a news reporter, a news anchor, a sports reporter, and ending as a sports anchor).  Adam and his wife Melissa are in College Station because Melissa was accepted into veterinary school at Texas A&M.

Adam is the youngest of four children in his family (with two older brothers and one older sister).  His older brothers are the reason he started lifting weights at a young age, and they couldn’t be happier about his career as a trainer (in fact, one recently decided he wanted to follow Adam’s footsteps, so he just got certified to become a trainer himself!).

Training is Adam’s 2nd career, and one that he wants to keep for the rest of his life.  He plans broaden his education and become a certified Nutritionist as well, because due to the fact that his mother is a vegetarian and health-food advocate, healthy eating has always been a part of his life.
